Sefydlwyd CyweithfaGelfCaerdydd yn 2012 gan grŵp o artistiaid, gwneuthurwyr a churaduron o'r un anian mewn ymateb i'r drafodaeth sy'n tyfu o amgylch y byd celf cyfoes yng Nghaerdydd, gyda'r nod o gynnig llwyfan ar gyfer arddangos a hyrwyddo celf, crefft a dylunio gan wneuthurwyr yn seiliedig yng Nghaerdydd a Bro Morgannwg.Darpara CyweithfaGelfCaerdydd fudd i ymarferwyr creadigol yn y Celfyddydau - gan gefnogi ein gilydd drwy ein cyfryngau penodol ei hun ac yn darparu cyfleoedd ar gyfer croes-gydweithredu. Mae'r cyfuniad o sgiliau, arbenigedd a phrofiad yr unigolion sy'n ffurfio y Gyweithfa yn caniatáu ar gyfer rhaglen amrywiol, lle y gall bob aelod arwain ar brosiectau gwahanol - yn weithdai addysgiadol, stiwdios agored, arddangosfeydd, digwyddiadau unigol neu datblygiad proffesiynol - i gyd o dan yr un faner. Llywodraetha holl weithgareddau'r Gyweithfa gan y nod o annog menter greadigol, dadl a thrafodaeth o fewn y sector. Drwy brosiectau a digwyddiadau ar y cyd, rydym yn gallu rhannu syniadau a chynorthwyo gyda datblygu artistiaid a gwneuthurwyr proffesiynol, a chynyddu amlygiad i'r cyhoedd a photensial marchnadoedd. Ein nod yw darparu cyfleoedd i bartneriaethau creadigol i ddatblygu rhwng artistiaid, gwneuthurwyr, meddylwyr creadigol, sefydliadau a'r cyhoedd ac i gymryd rhan mewn digwyddiadau a dadleuon celfyddydol o safon gyfoes ac uchel.
CardiffArtsCollective was established in 2012 by a group of like-minded artists, makers and curators in response to the growing discussion surrounding the contemporary art scene in in Cardiff, with the aim of offering a platform for exhibiting and promoting art, craft and design by Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan based practitioners.The CardiffArtsCollective provides benefit to creative practitioners within the Arts - supporting one another through our own specific mediums and providing opportunities for crossover collaboration. This combination of skills, expertise and experience of the individuals forming the Collective allows for a diverse output programme, where each member can take the lead on different projects - whether an educational strand of workshops, open studios, exhibitions, one-off events or professional development - all under one banner. All of the Collective's activities are governed by the goal of encouraging creative enterprise, debate and discussion within the sector. Through collaborative projects and events, we are able to share ideas and assist with the development of professional artists and makers, and increase exposure to the public and potential markets. We aim to provide opportunities for creative partnerships to develop between artists, makers, creative thinkers, organisations and the public and to engage in contemporary and high quality arts events and debates.
